The I AM's of Jesus Part 5 - I AM The Light II "The Light of the New Day"

Jesus calls Himself the light in John's Gospel.  What does He mean?  I would have to search the scripture and understand by the Spirit to see.  In simplistic terms, we do not see ourselves in relationship to the sin of the old man, or even in relationship to the world.  We see ourselves in relationship to Jesus Christ.  He is the Light we see by.  Simply put, we see by Him.  

We are called the righteousness in God in Christ Jesus.  To see ourselves as the righteousness of God, the only way that would be possible is to see ourselves by Jesus Christ.  In ourselves we would never find righteousness.  We would find our inabilities, but if our eyes see by Him, we will find our life in Him, and that we have been made right by Him.  Glory to God!
