For many years, I was told as a believer we would hear the Trumpet Sound, or the Voice of the Trumpet to be gathered up with the Lord. Matthew 24:31 "And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from the ends of the heavens to their ends."
What I never considered was that the Voice of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself was as a Trumpet. Revelation 1:10 I came to be in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11 saying, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last; also, What you see, write in a scroll, and send to the seven assemblies of Asia: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea. 12 And I turned to see the voice which spoke with me. 13 And having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, having been clothed to the feet, and having been girded with a golden girdle at the breasts.
I also never considered that this voice would have the power to gather a people out of the earth, earth mindedness, earth nature, earth man, without actually physically leaving the earth. But it does. Hearing Him gathers our hearts and minds to Him to SEE HIM. This is not physical sight. This is what Paul declares in Galatians 1, when he says that he was separated from his mother’s womb for GOD TO REVEAL HIS SON IN HIM. As Saul of Tarus, he heard a voice and saw the LIGHT and was changed in the moment and twinkling of an eye to Paul the Apostle.
Now this voice began to be heard through Paul. Christ was declared through Apostle Paul. The same was with the earlier Apostles. Christ sent forth His messenger’s declaring with A VOICE, the Message of Jesus Christ. This literally gathered Jewish people in that day before the Romans destroyed Jerusalem unto Christ. I believe if we can hear it the elect were gathered because the Trumpet sounded through the Apostles and Disciples after Jesus’ resurrection. I believe when Jesus walked through the earth as the man from Galilea the Voice was sounding in the earth, the Voice of the Trump of God. This Voice has the power to bring those that hear out of death to LIFE. Jesus said of Himself that He had come that we may have life. Then He said again of Himself that He is the Resurrection and the Life.
I believe this Voice will bring us to the Resurrection and the Life. Glory to God!

I am Wayne Shelton the Pastor of New Life Tabernacle, a gathering of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ located in Culpeper, VA. I have been in Ministry for over 20 years and declare the Revelation of Jesus Christ to the Body of Christ. The aim and purpose of Ministry is to edify the Body of Christ, that the believer may grow in the knowledge of the Lord and come to the full stature of the Son of God as declared in Ephesians Chapter 3. The heart of this Ministry is that the believer may come to an inward knowing of the Lord Jesus Christ. Not simply that Christ is my heart, which is a part of the knowing, but the full measure of what He is within us, which operates to conform us and transform us into His very nature and character by the Word of God and the working of the Spirit of the Lord.
Colossians 2:9&10 "9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:"
Colossians 2 is a very powerful scripture, declaring the believer’s completion in the Lord Jesus Christ. However, many believers do not feel complete, or understand the work the Lord did on the cross. From Sunday to Sunday many believers struggle, not understanding the depth and degree of the work of the cross. It is our aim to bring you into this fellowship of God’s dear Son and His Work that He completed on the cross. Paul declared "That I might know Him, and the power of His Resurrection." His desire was that believers' hearts would turn from world, including religion to a heart that would cry, “I might know Him!” With this turning, there is an assurance that the Lord will give us the desires of the heart. So, understanding that He becomes our desire, the Lord Jesus will fill us with Himself with the very essence and nature of Him that we may know the greatness of our salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord, and declare it in the earth.
May the Lord Jesus be declared and manifested in His Body, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ
