The Person of the Gospel Part 21 - Christ The Covenant, To Be Filled with Him

When we come to see that He is all in all, our hearts cry to be filled with Him.  This should be the desire and mind of those in Ministry for themselves and for the Church.  "That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection."  
 
Ephesians 3:14 "For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. 20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen." 

The Person of the Gospel Part 20 - Abiding In His Word

To Abide in Him and in His Word.  This is of the greater desire of my heart.  That may come to a place in Christ where I abide.  Where is my sunshine.  He is my desire.  He is my LIFE!  Glory to God!

The Person of the Gospel Part 19- The Law of Life

What is the law of life in Christ Jesus that Paul refers to in the Book of Romans?  In the Person of Jesus Christ, we have life and have it abundantly.  This life is in us and is made known through Him.  As Christ is made known or revealed we begin to see and experience His life.  It is His Life that is to be manifested into the earth!  Glory to God!

The Person of the Gospel Part 18 - The Law of Christ

We who are in the New Covenant, who are in Christ, and have come to an understanding that we are not under the Mosaic law may not fully comprehend what we are under.  We who are married or joined to the Lord are One Spirit.  We are in and under that of Him who lives in us.  Glory to God!

The Person of the Gospel Part 17 - The Covenant of Jesus Christ

From Sinai we have a word given that was the Law.  From Christ we have a Word given that is Life.  It is this Life and living Word that is now within us.  The New Covenant is simply Christ Living in us, and the fullness He brings to our hearts!  Glory to God!

The Person of the Gospel Part 16 - The Covenant Is A Person

What is the New Covenant?  Can you find the words written in your Bible that spells out the Covenant like you do in the Old Covenant?  I don't believe we can.  Jesus said His blood is the blood of the New Covenant.  He is the Covenant of God.  Christ in you is the Word of Covenant.  As He is revealed and known by you by the Spirit of God you come to understand and live in the New Covenant.  Glory to God!

The Person of the Gospel Part 15 - In The Beginning Was The Word

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men." 
Here it is.  Out from this statement, I believe flows ALL THINGS!  The thought, the intent, the purpose was in the WORD.  All things came out of Him and all things are to Him.  I believe He is the measurement of everything holy.  If we we are in the thought of God, are to know the thought of God, it is measured by Christ.  
God's plan and purpose is contained in a person.  That Person is Jesus Christ!  This was from the beginning and was manifest to us in the Person of Jesus.  Now it is revealed in those who receive Him.  Glory to God.
John 1:12  "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" 
 
 

The Person of the Gospel Part 14 - That From The Beginning

1Jn 1:1 "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) 3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. 4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full."
Although John had walked with Jesus in the flesh and seen the demonstrations, miracles, and love pouring from the Man Jesus, this word of life that John declared was more than just seeing Jesus in the flesh.  It was this life that John had seen as Jesus Christ walked with his disciples now filling their hearts by the Spirit of God. 
This same life and fellowship is available to all Christians.   This same life and fellowship is what Christianity is.  Christianity is not simply doctrines, but is a fellowship of the Life that was with God from the beginning.  Glory to God!
