Paul writes in Galatians 2, "The life I live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me."
Paul is saying, the life I am living is out of that of Christ which he has comprehended or attained by the Spirit of God. Simply put, he is living out of Christ. He declares himself dead to the world and alive unto God IN CHRST JESUS. Paul would tell us that he has no ability in himself to be alive to God. It is in Christ Jesus. Glory to God!

Christ is our justification. In His resurrection, he was shown to be the justified one. God would not leave His soul in hell, neither did His flesh see corruption. Glory to God.

Christ is our righteousness. Let this sink in. This is the verdict of the cross. We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Outside of Him we have no right standing with God, but in Him, we are in His right standing with God. Glory to God.

Our relationship with God as believers is according to the finished work of the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. We comprehend the finished work of Jesus by faith. This is spiritual comprehension. As we see Him by the Spirit, we comprehend Him by the Spirit. This is measured out in our hearts by the Spirit of the Living God, "Christ in you the hope (expectation) of Glory."

2 Corinthians 1:20 "For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us."
What does it mean? The promises of God are Yes in Christ. Faith is the substance of what was hoped for. What was hoped for were the promises of God in the prophets. These are fulfilled in Christ. For example, "Thy sins and iniquities will I remember no more." Our sins were laid upon Him. He has been bruised and striped for us to be healed for all. We possess this by faith in Him.
Now if we walk in faith, we would walk in the consciousness that our sins and iniquities are gone. We would walk in the consciousness of a New Creation, where Christ is our Life. This is a faith walk. This is the comprehension of Him. Glory to God in the Highest!

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
And faith. I like this one definition. I mean if you go out on Biblehub. You can look up this word and it'll give you definitions like this long and you can read through them and there's some really good stuff on it. But I like this simple thing. Faith is persuasion given of God. Ok, let that sink in for a minute. I wrote a note with this. That persuasion given of God is reality of the Person of Christ. The reality of the Person of Christ. So, so, what do you mean the reality of the Person of Christ? OK, that's a question mark. I'm gonna continue on with my notes. Or comprehension of the person of Christ who is in you. So, faith is the persuasion given of God. And again I wrote, the reality of the person of Christ or comprehension of the person of Christ who is in you. (Wayne Shelton)
We are to comprehend Him. We are to understand and live in the understanding of Him that is in us. We are to live in His reality, not what we may perceive of ourselves, but what we come to konw of Christ who is in us. "I live by the faith of the Son of God." Glory to God!

If I was a Jewish man or woman when Hebrews was written, "Faith is the substance of things hoped for." What would I have been hoping for? A New Cadillac? No, the prophets to be fulfilled in the promises declared to the nation of Israel. I would have been hoping for Messiah to come and the great restoration to come in the earth. I would have been hoping for my sins and iniquities to be remembered no. I would have been hoping for a New Mind and a New Spirit.
All of these things I would have been hoping for are found in THE PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST. He is where the things hoped for are found, realized and experienced. Glory to God!

These first two sharings of the Faith of the Son of God are intended to consider Hs faith and our faith in Him. Ultimately we are to come to His faith. This has been one of the most dynamic understandings I have personally witnessed in the Lord.

Life In Christ Jesus
I am Wayne Shelton the Pastor of New Life Tabernacle, a gathering of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ located in Culpeper, VA. I have been in Ministry for over 20 years and declare the Revelation of Jesus Christ to the Body of Christ. The aim and purpose of Ministry is to edify the Body of Christ, that the believer may grow in the knowledge of the Lord and come to the full stature of the Son of God as declared in Ephesians Chapter 3. The heart of this Ministry is that the believer may come to an inward knowing of the Lord Jesus Christ. Not simply that Christ is my heart, which is a part of the knowing, but the full measure of what He is within us, which operates to conform us and transform us into His very nature and character by the Word of God and the working of the Spirit of the Lord.
Colossians 2:9&10 "9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:"
Colossians 2 is a very powerful scripture, declaring the believer’s completion in the Lord Jesus Christ. However, many believers do not feel complete, or understand the work the Lord did on the cross. From Sunday to Sunday many believers struggle, not understanding the depth and degree of the work of the cross. It is our aim to bring you into this fellowship of God’s dear Son and His Work that He completed on the cross. Paul declared "That I might know Him, and the power of His Resurrection." His desire was that believers' hearts would turn from world, including religion to a heart that would cry, “I might know Him!” With this turning, there is an assurance that the Lord will give us the desires of the heart. So, understanding that He becomes our desire, the Lord Jesus will fill us with Himself with the very essence and nature of Him that we may know the greatness of our salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord, and declare it in the earth.
May the Lord Jesus be declared and manifested in His Body, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ
