In our studies we are looking at the power of Jesus, death, burial and resurrection and HIs transforming power in the lives of the believers. Paul desired to know Him in the Power of His resurrection, and to be conformed to HIs death. This should be the heart of every believer. Lord Jesus I want to know you! I want to know what your finished work completed. I want to know the cross in my day to day living. Let me know you! Glory to God!

"As He Is So are We." What a thought! John says in I John 3 We shall be like Him because we see Him as He is. This is the key, to be like him you must see Him. Jesus says in John's Gospel, "I will go away, and the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me." How is that possible? Because He also says He will come and make his dwelling in you. You will see Him as He is revealed in you.
Our turning to see Him needs to be internal. He is in you. When He appears in you, you are changed. Your mind, your heart, your being is changed. He is after His Image, His Nature, His character in you. This comes. This is formed in the light of His appearing. Glory to God.

What is the last Day? Is there a last day upon the earth. Was Jesus speaking of a physical last day when He told them, recorded in John, He would raise them up IN THE LAST DAY.
Here is another view of that. While there was a last day of the Old Covenant and the things that pertain to it, I believe Jesus Christ Himself is the last Day. When we come into Him, we come into a new day. This is not a natural day, and it doesn't require natural light to see, but we see in this day through the light of HIs Revelation.

We spend most of our time walking in the light (understanding) of the old man even after we have been born from above. The Light we should see is Christ. We should be walking in the understanding of Him and our relationship to him. As Paul writes to the believers in Ephesians 2, "we are made alive with Him." "We are raised with Him." We are seated with Him in heavenly places." This should be the understanding that begins to effect our living in the earth. This is what Paul is talking about in Galatians 2.
Galatians 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."
Life In Christ Jesus
I am Wayne Shelton the Pastor of New Life Tabernacle, a gathering of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ located in Culpeper, VA. I have been in Ministry for over 20 years and declare the Revelation of Jesus Christ to the Body of Christ. The aim and purpose of Ministry is to edify the Body of Christ, that the believer may grow in the knowledge of the Lord and come to the full stature of the Son of God as declared in Ephesians Chapter 3. The heart of this Ministry is that the believer may come to an inward knowing of the Lord Jesus Christ. Not simply that Christ is my heart, which is a part of the knowing, but the full measure of what He is within us, which operates to conform us and transform us into His very nature and character by the Word of God and the working of the Spirit of the Lord.
Colossians 2:9&10 "9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:"
Colossians 2 is a very powerful scripture, declaring the believer’s completion in the Lord Jesus Christ. However, many believers do not feel complete, or understand the work the Lord did on the cross. From Sunday to Sunday many believers struggle, not understanding the depth and degree of the work of the cross. It is our aim to bring you into this fellowship of God’s dear Son and His Work that He completed on the cross. Paul declared "That I might know Him, and the power of His Resurrection." His desire was that believers' hearts would turn from world, including religion to a heart that would cry, “I might know Him!” With this turning, there is an assurance that the Lord will give us the desires of the heart. So, understanding that He becomes our desire, the Lord Jesus will fill us with Himself with the very essence and nature of Him that we may know the greatness of our salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord, and declare it in the earth.
May the Lord Jesus be declared and manifested in His Body, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ
