I AM The Resurrection and the Life Part 8 - When Christ Our Life Appears

Colossians 3:1 "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory." 
Colossians 1:25 "Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 2  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:" 
If I consider what Paul says in Chapter 1 in Chapter 3, where I may look for Christ to appear or be manifested may be in me.  This will go along with what Jesus tells Judas in John 14.  "I will manifest myself to you and not to the world."  Christ appears in you to bring you and I into the Glory of Him, that we may be glorified together with Him.  Glory to God!

I AM The Resurrection and The Life Part 7 - Christ The Life

In the resurrection, we live by Him that lives in us. We have no life but Him. We are raised up and seated together with Him, Paul writes in Ephesians 2. Here in this work of Christ we are made One with Him. It is not Jesus being made one with us in who we are. It is us being made one with Him in who He is. We are coming to know Him, and His Life. Glory to God!

Jesus doesn't just give us life. He is our life! Christ lives in you if you have received Him. This is the hope of the Gospel, the plan of salvation. God's very life living in creation! Glory to God!!

I AM The Resurrection and The Life V - I AM The Life

Jesus not only declared Himself to be The Resurrection, but He declared Himself to be The Resurrection and The Life. Simply put, when He raises us from the dead, we come to The Life. His Life becomes our life. He says in John we live because He lives. This is tremendous in understanding our relationship with the Lord. We are in His Life. This Life is made to us what He is. Now that we have been raised from the dead, the life of the dead has no hold on us. We are raised up to know the life of Christ Jesus our Lord. This fills our soul in His goodness. Through this life living in us we can say now we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. We could say, now we are filled with the wisdom and understanding of God. Now we are filled with that of Christ who has no sin. We can go on and on. Glory to God.
Now that we have been raised from the dead, the life of the dead has no hold on us. We are raised up to know the life of Christ Jesus our Lord. This fills our soul in His goodness. I AM The Resurrection - Jesus is the Resurrection of the Dead

When we think of Resurrection, we must consider the dead.  Is the dead simply dead physical bodies in the mind of God?  I don't believe so.  I would say to be dead would be absence  of life.  The same would apply to darkness.  Darkness would be the absence of light.  Paul writes in I Corinthians 15 that all died in Adam, and all shall be made alive in Christ.
1Corinthians 15:22 "For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive."
Now the question is, when Jesus enters our hearts are we raised up by Him into life, or are we waiting to some day be raised?  I believe He Himself answered this with Martha, when He said I AM The Resurrection and the life.  When Christ comes into us, He then begins to made unto us Who He is.  Se we, in turn receive of Him, and by Him are raised from the dead. 
Now being raised, what is it but that we should know The Life.  Again Jesus Christ is THE LIFE that we know out from the dead.  We knew Adam, we are learning Christ.  In the simplicity of this statement we were unrighteous, now we are made righteous.  This is being in the Life of Christ.  Glory to God.
 

I AM The Resurrection and The Life III - Removing the Grave Clothes

Jesus put off HIs clothes in the tomb.  They found His linen clothing in the tomb.  Why did He do it?  He put off His grave clothes.  Lazarus, when he came out of the tomb also put off his grave clothes.  Jesus said, "loose him and let him go."  This is speaking of us in Christ. 
We put off through His resurrection the clothing of the dead.  We were clothed with that in Adam and put it off, and are clothed of that in Christ. Glory to God.
John 20:5 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. :6 Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie, 7 And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. 8 Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.

I AM The Resurrection - The Voice of the Son of God

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. 
The dead shall hear and they that hear shall live.  This sounds like a resurrection!  The Apostle Paul tells the believer that they have been raised with Christ in Ephesians 2 and Colossians 3, and many other places in the scripture.  The Apostle John says we have passed from death to life.  The Apostle Peter says we are born again through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.  
Through the Power of His Resurrection all that hear and believe come to life.   Let us hear His Voice.  Glory to God.
